Interior Designer, MPSS / ASID Allied / LEED GA / FDC / ISSP / Certified Healthy Materials Advocate

Phoebe Beachner brings a wealth of hospitality design experience to every project and team she collaborates with. Her work reflects a deep understanding of how thoughtful, sensory design can elevate experiences in hotels, restaurants, spas, and private residences alike.

Her foundation in design began early, growing up with a fascination for the built environment and later studying interior design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she earned her B.F.A. with a minor in architectural history. She went on to complete her Master of Professional Studies in Sustainable Interior Environments at the New York School of Interior Design in 2017.

Phoebe’s professional journey includes her time with Hart Howerton in New York, where she focused on hospitality and resort design across global destinations. She has worked on projects ranging from private residences to five-star resorts, hotels, restaurants, and spas—spanning New York, the Caribbean, and the southeastern U.S.—as well as generationally owned and historic establishments. Her collaborative approach extends to working closely with C-suite executives, stakeholders, and interdisciplinary teams that include architects, landscape designers, and consultants across structural, MEP, and other specialties. This experience has allowed her to adapt across diverse design styles and project scales while maintaining a cohesive vision.

Phoebe has received the IIDA Sustainable Design Education Fund, served as a panelist on the IIDA Future of Design Roundtable, and has been published in Atelier Magazine and the ASID Student Portfolio Book. She is a former NEWH NY Chapter Green Voice Committee Chair and board member, and previously served on the ASID New York Metro Chapter Board of Directors (2022–2024) as Professional Development Director and Events Committee Chair. She continues to be an active member of the chapter’s Health, Wellness & Sustainability Committee.

A LEED Green Associate and Certified Healthy Materials Lab Advocate, Phoebe is also a Female Design Council member dedicated to advancing equity and sustainability within the design industry. In addition to her professional practice, she contributes to the next generation of designers through her outreach with USGBC and Nepris, and as an advisory board member for the New York School of Interior Design’s MPS in Sustainable Interior Environments program.
